The new Nokia 6600 Slide is set to replace the ever-popular 6500.

Looks have been improved as the handset has been given a make-over to perk things up a bit over the old model which was , let's face it - a bit dour / formal to say the least. Aluminium & steel have been used throughout to give the phone an air of quality & sophistication.

The phone is a safe bet for the majority of mobile users as it does what it says on the tin as it were. It's got all the main features you would want from your mobile & has great looks without having any rubbish in there that you wouldn't use anyway.

The display is nice and clear at 2.2" & the keypad layout is simple and straight forwards with decent sized keys. Tapping twice on the phone will silence an alarm or reject an incoming call. The phone includes Google maps, but GPS is only available through an optional accessory.

With video calling, fast 3g services, bluetooth, expandable memory, 3.2 megapixel camera and much more besides, this new version is an all-round sensation.
